As the after-sales engineers responsible for the Iraqi oil field project, Deng Shuicai and Ma Zengbin were facing the challenges arising from COVID-19 and wars that may break out anytime. They expressed their bittersweet emotion, excitement for being able to stand on the 'battlefield' to provide support and fear for the unknown in the future.
Under the war, the shortage of materials lags behind the after-sales progress. It’s also tough for them to get in touch with the domestic engineers due to the poor wire signal.
They may even be required to conduct equipment inspection and installation in extreme working conditions with temperatures reaching 50 degrees.
Finally comes the time for the FCC building to be accepted. But the engineering team was informed that the entire network segment needs to be reset. They had to postpone the return time to China until the network and the access system is in stable use.

——Cameroon National Electronic Higher Education Network Project

Responsible for the equipment debugging and maintenance for the Cameroon project, engineer Guan Shixin stood on the front lines dealing with the challenges arising from COVID-19 and other local infectious diseases.
The paperless conference equipment on the local campus was out of use due to the long service life and improper maintenance. Apart from the equipment repair, he also conducted overall technical training and debugging for academic personnel.
The fourth school is located in the suburbs and all the daily necessities are not available in the venue. He gave customers comprehensive training and guidance on maintenance and operation. Finally, the customers expressed high levels of satisfaction with his professional technical support.

——The Ethiopian Commercial Bank's project
Engineer: Huang Xinpei
Period: May 9, 2021-August 11, 2021
Business trip days: 93 days
In addition to issues such as network adaptation, the local pandemic was also not under control. With no shuttle bus service, Huang Xinpei faced severe public security issues such as robbery.
As the local prime minister was going to inspect at the end of the month, Huang Xinpei had to catch up with the progress. The situation on the scene was not as optimistic as expected for the equipment was basically not installed. He went out early and returned late to make overall planning and division of labor every day.
With the joint efforts of the customer, he finally completed the equipment installation of the meeting room within the stipulated time.
Behind the praise are countless toughness. Despite being thousands of miles away from their homeland, the itc technical team completed their tasks with a high level of professionalism.
