Footlight

Footlights are rows of lights set at the floor level at the front of a stage to provide a part of the general illumination and to soften the harsh shadows produced by other forms of stage lighting, such as spotlights. Aside from that, it can compensate for the lack of top light and sidelight to enhance the characteristics of the actors based on the various needs of the plot.
